President & CEO

Delceno Miles

Delceno C. Miles is the President & CEO of The Miles Agency, which she founded in 1989. A seasoned marketing and public relations strategist, she has worked with political campaigns and businesses in Virginia and California. She has served on numerous boards, including the Hampton Roads Chamber, Virginia Beach Vision, and the Hampton Roads Workforce Council. She was elected to the Virginia Beach School Board, serving as Vice Chair, and has been recognized with multiple leadership awards. Delceno holds a B.A. in Psychology from Stanford University and an M.A. in Communications from Regent University.

Community Engagement Specialist

ZaMari K. Love

ZaMari Love is a dedicated community engagement strategist with a background in government and grassroots outreach. A Virginia Beach native, she holds a B.A. in International Studies from Hampton University and an M.P.S. from Old Dominion University. She has worked with the City of Norfolk’s Mayor’s Office and now leads public relations efforts for the HRBT Expansion Project. Passionate about youth and community development, she also serves as a Youth Advisor for the National Council of Negro Women and a Program Coordinator for the C.L.E.A.N. Youth Organization.

Debbie Hansley

A retired U.S. Marine, Debbie Hansley brings over 30 years of experience in fundraising, sponsorship, marketing, business development, and event management. She retired as the Regional Sponsorship Director for the U.S. Navy’s Mid-Atlantic Region’s Morale, Welfare, and Recreation Department. Passionate about community involvement, Debbie continues to support initiatives that foster connection and engagement. She holds a Master’s Degree in Event Management from George Washington University.

Barbara Hamm Lee

Barbara Hamm Lee is an award-winning journalist, media consultant, and communications strategist. She is best known as the Executive Producer and Host of Another View, a talk show covering African American perspectives. She has held leadership roles in television news, public media, and communications consulting, specializing in race relations, community engagement, and strategic branding. A respected public speaker and facilitator, Barbara has received numerous accolades, including induction into the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Silver Circle. She serves on several nonprofit boards and is a graduate of Bennett College.

Business Development Manager

Christina Tate

Christina Tate is an accomplished business strategist and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in grant writing, RFP development, sponsorship procurement, client and donor relationship management, and business development. As the Business Development Manager for The Miles Agency, she leads new business initiatives, researches competitive strategies, and manages client relations to drive agency growth.

In addition to her role at The Miles Agency, Christina is the CEO and Founder of Visions Consulting Group LLC, a boutique firm specializing in grant writing, business consulting, and RFP management. She has successfully supported early-stage, small, women, minority, and veteran-owned businesses in securing funding and achieving sustainable success.  Her diverse experience includes working with Fortune 500 companies such as Goldman Sachs and L’Oréal, as well as nonprofits like Habitat for Humanity and Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO). She has worked with clients across the U.S. and internationally, including in Kyiv, Ukraine.  Christina is also an Adjunct Professor of Business at Tidewater Community College, where she teaches Entrepreneurship. She holds a B.A. in Government & Politics from George Mason University and an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Regent University.
